All the gears are in great shape and the insides look marvelous it was a joy to work on, I love Penn reels they are quality made and will last a lifetime. I bought this from a man who said it was his father’s, some old fishing line had been left on it and put up and stored and over the years it got some pitting on the reel nothing serious and will not affect the action, it is so smooth and turns like a dream see pictures for the pitting, i waxed all the Crome to help protect it, this reel is ready for line and fishing. Please notice in one of the pictures I drilled and tapped the little weight on the handle it had broken off the repair is solid
