商品説明※アメリカの現地出品者により作成されたため、英語のまま掲載いたしております。Vintage Kutani Hand Painted Moriage Dragonware Six Teacup and Saucer Sets Each cup and saucer is made of white bone china hand painted with a 24K gold and red finely detailed dragon and wind which dance across the teacup and saucer. The gold is also is decorated along the thumb position along the top of the cup's handle.The cup is white eggshell porcelain with a secret: when you hold the empty cup up to the light, a geisha woman's face appears! This is known as "lithophane", an image made in thin, translucent porcelain that appears when backlit.Saucers measure 5-1/2" diameter; Cups are 3-1/2" diameter. Marked on the underside, 'Made in Japan'. A magnificent conversation piece for an afternoon tea or brunch, being sold as a collectible set. Originally a gift from our great grandfather to our great grandmother in Scotland when he returned from overseas sometime in the late 1930s to early 1950's. All our antiques are carefully packed for USPS Priority mail in bubble wrap, extra packing and/or double boxing as needed which may increase the weight and size of the shipping box - we want your new treasure to arrive safely!
