The fingering applies to all such flutes whether the standard "concert" flute in the key of D of the more widely-available fife or band flute. Since the fingering on the tin whistle is the same as that on these flutes, the book is particularly suited to those who wish to learn the whistle with a view to later taking up the flute. Gordon Tyrrall's Irish Choice This is an excellent repertoire book of Irish traditional tunes compiled by master flute player Gordon Tyrrall. Included are 101 Irish session tunes. The tunes are from two of his CDs, Five Mile Chase and Banish Misfortune. The CDs are NOT included in this listing. As noted all materials are in excellent condition.
