All still in good functional & aesthetic condition.. meaning no defects, i.e. excessive or uneven wear, unwanted holes, rips, and tears, or egregious stains, gross odors, etc. We point out even minute cosmetic blemishes, intentional factory distressing (vs aged, worn-in patina), alterations & repairs, etc. As long as we’re aware of ANY of these, we’ll highlight it. We do our best to disclose in our photos and/ or written description those things that will help you make a wise, informed decision. Regarding the footwear we sell, it’s cleaned & detailed (if necessary), sanitized, bagged, then placed in an organized storage system separate from our clothing. Sealed containers protect all of our inventory prior to shipping. We sometimes employ “stock” images for styling ideas & additional details. But rest assured, the physical item described for sale is the exact one you’ll receive. Packing & shipping our orders is done daily. Packages are scanned by our regular Carrier, or at the Post Office (for immediate, accurate tracking). On most items, we’ve adopted eBay’s “gold-standard” business policy, offering 60-day, free returns (we’ll pay to ship it back). We assign value to our items based on the current, up-to-date market status & individual condition, and are priced accordingly. We run generous markdown campaigns. It perfectly nails the modern clothing industry’s slick marketing tricks. It has for some time now misled and confused us all with its “optimistic” tag sizing. But then again, vintage clothing (one of our growing interests) can be tricky to fit as well, as those “old” sizes, as a whole, no longer correspond to today’s tag numbers. It’s a safe bet to say that we folks have simply gotten bigger over the decades. Yet another reason clothes shopping is such a challenge! Therefore, unless you’re 100% confident in “your” brand & their approach to sizing, proper fit of any new-to-you garment should really rely on a person’s actual, physical measurements. So here’s a general rule of thumb: 1.) Find a similar item that you “have access to” and can wear comfortably. 2.) Smooth it out flat, but not “stretched”. 3.) Using a carpenter’s tape measure, a yardstick, or tailor’s sewing tape, compare the measurements you get to ours. We suggest using industry-standard measuring points as your guide. We use these in the garment diagrams (most of) our listings contain. Following this quick & simple exercise (rather than just “roiling the dice”) should eliminate unnecessary & inconvenient returns due to remorse over fit.
