商品説明※アメリカの現地出品者により作成されたため、英語のまま掲載いたしております。THIS IS THE ALUMINUM BODY ONLY, NOT A WHOLE CARTRIDGE!New Paradox Pulse Shure/Universal DIY Cartridge Body. Made from T-6 aluminum made and machined in USA. Two 3/8" long 3-56 stainless steel screws included along with 4 pieces of lead and tape, 1/2" long available on request. All you need is the Epoxy and a Shure cartridge. This Universal Do It Yourself (DIY) body will work for most moving magnet cartridges. The Shure and many others have a step in the front of the plastic shell which is where the front of the cartridge sits. I use lead to simulate this step to give proper stylus angle. SEE last pictures from other customers you can do anything with these (universal/DIY) and my other bodies transforming the cartridges performance. Instructions: Remove stylus/needle to make sure no glue gets in there, re-install after mounting process is complete, let epoxy/glues dry fully. The pictures above are a helpful guide to the process also. Simple to use just remove stylus then remove cartridge from plastic shell, insert sharp knife (like exacto) to the lower back lift up and pry cartridge out, tape off back to where the chamfer starts, add 4 pieces of lead shot then drip in epoxy, pull white channel band off of lowest connection leg (prevents epoxy form getting on the band and allows tighter fit to back to prevent epoxy leaking out past the tape) insert nuded cartridge, (when epoxy is fresh you can use a tissue to wipe away most of the excess) let epoxy set up, (but still soft for clean up) clean excess epoxy off with Q-tip and rubbing alcohol, let dry completely (epoxy usually fully cures in 24 hours), re-install stylus, your done. Enjoy your modified and improved phono cartridge. Potted aluminum is much better for musical details, bass, frequency extension, imaging, and midrange naturalness. You will hear the difference. I will also pot your cartridge for $30-, but you will have shipping both ways. Mounting area is .398" wide x .725" long x 0.11" deep. You can also attach to the outside dimensions (.725" wide x .8" long x .232" high) but would cover the screw holes making you adjust the screw height so as to not poke through to the cartridge.Body weight 4.2 grams for body, add lead 4.5 grams, add stainless screws 5.5 grams total added weight less plastic body 0.8 grams, epoxy should be negligible.Cartridge (SC35C) angle in stock body 13 degree, with lead support in Pulse body 12 degrees. These bodies are fresh from the machine shop so you can finish them any way YOU want, paint anodize, powder coat, markers, whatever you can think of or just use them RAW. Universal means you can put any brand or type, MM or MC, cartridge you want to strip down. I do NOT have any type of list as to what will fit and what won't, so your on your own that is why I included the dimensions above. I have had customers just mount the complete cartridge to them and state large improvements in sound, but I recommend removing the outside plastic shell for biggest improvements. You can expect BIG improvements in clarity, focus, detail and frequency extremes both low and highs. If you are trying to get the most sound improvements for your money this is it. paradoxpulse.
